I stand with olgeezer in his desire to be with the PGR during their respectful honors for Cpl. Kristopher Geer. He’s for sure an American heo. My sadness at Nafe’s passing extends to the Roberts family, and to Paula and her older son. God bless and be with you all as you strive to put your lives back into some semblance of “normal”.

God bless Miss Paula for all she has been through and done, she is an amazingly strong person. Great blog. Wish we could be with the gaurd as they bring this warrior home to rest.

Tracy, today is 11 Aug 2010, and I got your email this a.m. @ 0630 in regards to Nathan’s passing last night at 1930 CDT. I’m so sorry for you and yours, but I thank God for letting his Mom and Dad both be there with him. I have made an honorary donation of $50, in memory of Nathan Craig, to an amazing support effort for our Warriors in harm’s way called “Help Ms. Tracy Support the troops”. Hope you don’t mind’ wish I could be there for personal support. My sympathies to Paula and Larry and Nafe’s sibling(s). {{{{{{{{Tracy}}}}}}}}

Bogie, you and Jack are just about the only people who actually read my blog. All my prayer warriors are on facebook and I keep them updated there and on Multiply. Would love to see the account of Larry, etc., visiting Nathan, the the improvements made by Nafe. Just might give some emotional relief to those who don’t follow things terribly closely, but the great news would be most welcome, in my opinion, to all of them. Thans for the email!

Tried 6 times to comment via email icon “comments’. Stuff just “poofed out” if I hit the space bar to quickly to double-space. Anywas, Praise God in all things !! How tearfully happy I was to hear this terrific news! I know “wheelchair Dad” (Larry) was totally elated, along with the rest of us! Put a card in the post for Nafe early today (left off the darned cat and used another cover), so he should be receiving it perhaps Monday, 01 Aug. ’10. Much love, Tracy! First, is the book avail. @ Barnes & Noble; 2nd, is the Movie available anywhere! I had 3 questions in mind, but “Seniors” have their moments !!!

To me, the most touching scene of all, and I know this sounds silly, was when one of the Soldiers was talking to Mr. Junger about “Doc” Restrepo, who was KIA in July 2007, and you could see the Christmas lights and stockings he had hung up around his rack. Just that little touch of “home” in that hell-hole of a place wrenched my heart. And, yes, it should be required viewing.
