Okay, don’t tell the others that we play favorites…LOL!!
This is “Capt. Kru,” a Marine who has served three tours in the Middle East. He is currently back in the states, and who knows if he’ll wind up deployed again… Capt. Kru always sent the neatest slide shows of his Marines doing their jobs, and also included pictures of the lighter side of life. The “Christmas Tank” was one of my favorite slide shows; he and his Marines decorated their M1 Abrams tank with lights and ornaments since they didn’t have access to a Christmas tree. I used some of the pics from that slide show to put together a video Christmas card for my troops this past Christmas, set to the song “Santa Claus is Coming to Iraq.” It was quite a hit. LOL!
Anyway, Capt. Kru titled this picture “Berserker,” and I couldn’t resist sharing it. He must have a serious bone somewhere in his body, as he has survived three tours in Iraq/Afghanistan, but I have a feeling he’d be a fun addition to any get-together. I also don’t think morale would have a chance to get very low in his battalion, no matter where they might be. If you read this, Paul, thanks for the use of the picture. If you do happen to deploy again, don’t forget to give me your address!

I agree with your sentiment he could not possibly be in a unit with low morale; not that he wouldn’t allow it, but because he’s too positive (and too zany) for “low morale” to enter the picture! My thanks to Capt. Kru (I know, a moniker), for his dedication and unwavering service to me, my family, and my Nation. Thanks for sharing him with us!!

He looks like my type of what you would call a Warrior, setting off to Battle..You need a sense of Humor in a War Zone, and he loks like the type of Leader that h;is men respect him and would follow him anywhere and someone would always have his back..Surviving 3 tours means a heck of a lot, so Kudos to him and his men and hoping if he does have a 4th tour, it is as successful as the first 3..Larry

Capt. Kru, uses light hearted moments to relieve tension and pressure. He seems to have care and concern for anyone I can imagine that his men look up to him!
Thank you Miss Tracy!

I sure wouldn’t want to see those horns comin at me on the field of battle!
