Thank you to all who have signed my guestbook so far, and especially to my Warriors who have signed. I was pleased to see an entry this evening by one of the female Warriors we adopted a couple of years ago, SPC Dana Atkinson. She also left a comment on the Comment page. Looks like she’s going to be deployed again this winter ~ she’ll be added back to the Troop Support Rolodex as soon as she sends her address.
I have several currently in Iraq and Afghanistan who are “repeaters.” A few of them contacted me before they deployed the second time and asked if I would support them again. Others I recognized from their new postings on the site I get addresses from and requested their addresses so I could support them again. I always hate to hear one of our Warriors is going back downrange, but it happens. Some are on their third, fourth, or even fifth deployments…God bless the families that have to do without them so often and for so long. It must be incredibly difficult every time they say goodbye.
